Cost of Living in UK for Students

As per feedback from existing students the living expenses outside London would be normally between 700-1200 GBP per Month and between 12-1500 GBP per month in London. Of course a lot depends on each individual’s lifestyle and choices ex. Shared or single flat, home cooked food or food from outside.

Admission Requirements to Study in UK

UK has multiple universities with varied entry requirements. As a general rule for undergraduate they need a minimum of 60% in Intermediate. For postgraduate programs the Universities typically require a minimum higher second class degree i.e. around 58%. However, each university has specific personalised requirement and its always advisable to Contact HOC for tailored list as per your specific criteria. Ex. There are foundations and International Year options for students with lesser percentages for undergraduate and Pre-Masters for Graduate programs.

Since our Mother Tongue isn't English, the Universities typically needs English Proficiency Scores through tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo or a waiver of English scores based on English Marks in academics

UK Student Visa

To qualify for a UK visa the student needs to earn 40 points. 30 points are given once CAS is issued and 10 points are for financial. As per visa rules the students irrespective of the course duration needs to show funds for : 1st Year Tuition Fee + Living Expenses [9 Months]. (Any prepaid tuition fee and living expense are deducted from it ]

As per Visa Rules the living cost to be shown for Universities: in London is £1,529 per month I.e. £13,761. Outside London £1,171 per month i.£10,539. UK student is a 2 step process which includes filing the online visa form followed by submission of biometrics at VFS office . HOC will guide you of the complete visa process . The students should note that as part of visa process IHS [International Healthcare Surcharge ] for duration of course is a must and should be paid during Visa process.

VISA fee: 524 GBP [Per Fikle]

IHS [International Health Insurance]: 776 GBP[PEr Annum]
